THE DOGS WERE RESCUED WEEKS AGO FROM DEPLORABLE CONDITIONS AND REHABILITATED AND TODAY, THEY WERE READY TO FIND HOMES. THERE WAS NO SHORTAGE OF PEOPLE LOOKING TO GIVE THEM LOTS OF LOVE. OUR MELISSA GARCIA HAS THE STORY FROM THE DENVER ANIMAL SHELTER. Reporter: HUNDREDS LINED UP OUTSIDE HOPING FOR THE CHANCE TO ADOPT ONE OF 15 FRENCH BULLDOGS RESCUED FROM THE OVERCROWDED HOME OF THEIR HANDLER. SOME OF THE PEOPLE HAVE EVEN BEEN HERE SINCE LAST NIGHT. MOST DEFINITELY HEART- BREAKING. Reporter: BRITTANY LYONS AND HER DOG WERE AMONG THE HOPEFULS. POLICE FOUND 35 LIVING DOGS INSIDE THE HOUSE AND ANOTHER 12 DEAD ONES STUFFED IN FREEZERS. DENVER ANIMAL SHELTERS’ LAUREN NEALSON SAYS THE PEOPLE HERE NURSED THEM BACK TO HEALTH FOR ADOPTION. US TAKING THEM FROM A HORRIBLE SITUATION AND PUTTING THEM INTO A NEW AND BETTER SITUATION. HELPING THEM LIVE OUT THE REST OF THEIR LIVES WITH A GOOD QUALITY OF LIFE.
