American bulldog-mix quarantined after Miami attack

POLICE ARE SEARCHING FOR A DOG OWNER AFTER A CHIHUAHUA WAS KILLED AND HIS ELDERLY OWNER WAS ALSO ATTACKED. LOCAL 10’S SHIA LaBEOUF LIVE IN SHYANN MALONE IS LIVE IN MEDLEY WITH THIS STORY. Reporter: WE LEARNED OF THIS THE OFFICER SAID TWO DOGS WERE INVOLVED IN THIS ATTACK BUT AFTER REVIEWING ANIMALS SERVICES, ONE DOG, THIS DOG IS CONSIDERED THE AGGRESSOR IS IN THIS CASE. HE IS SITTING IN QUARANTINE. A FEMALE DOG. AND CONSIDERED A BULLDOG MIX THAT WAS PICKED UP SHORTLY AFTER THE INCIDENT. THE SECOND DOG THAT WE THOUGHT WAS INVOLVED WAS ROAMING THE AREA AT THE SAME TIME AS THE BLACK DOG. THAT’S WHY IT WAS PICKED UP AS WELL. THIS BLACK DOG LIKELY HAD AN OWNER. SOME OF THIS COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENT. THE AGGRESSOR DOG, THE DOG THAT DID KILL THE CHIHUAHUA AND BITE THE OWNER. HER HAIR IS IN GOOD CONDITION AND GOOD BOOEDY WEIGHT AND COULD HAVE GOTTEN OUT OF A YA COULD HAVE GOTTEN OUT OF A YARD. THIS IS PREVENTABLE OR IF THIS DOG WAS ON A LEASH AND NOT ALLOWED TO RUN AT LARGE OFF THE OWNER’S PROPERTY, THIS WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. Reporter: THE FEMALE DOG ATTACKED THIS CHIHUAHUA AND THE OWNER WHO LIKELY TRIED TO STOP THE ATTACK WAS BIT, ONE OF THEM, THE WIFE THERE RECEIVING 100 STITCHES ON HER ARM. HER HUSBAND LATER SUFFERED A HEART ATTACK AFTER SEEING HIS DEAD DOG RIGHT AFTER THE ATTA DEAD DOG RIGHT AFTER THE ATTACK. NOW AS FOR THIS DOG, IT IS SITTING — IT WILL SPEND TEN DAYS IN QUARANTINE. ANIMAL EXPERTS WILL SEE EVALUATE THE DOG TO SEE IF IT COULD POSSIBLY BE FOSTERED AND RETURNED TO CIVILIZATION, BUT THERE IS A CASE THAT THIS DOG SINCE IT WAS INVOLVED IN KILLING A CHIHUAHUA IT COULD LIKELY BE PUT DOWN.
