Dogs In The City: Say Hello To Nino

INSTEAD OF PAYING $1, THEY’RE MAKING YOU BUY TWO. ABSOLUTELY. YOU NOW TO DOGS IN THE CITY. WE MEET NINO, WITH SO MUCH LOVE TO GIVE. Reporter: IT’S TIME FOR DOGS IN THE CITY. WE HAVE NINO, AN ADORABLE MIX, RIGHT. TELL ME ABOUT HIM. HE’S A CHIHUAHUA MIX. HE’S 3 YEARS OLD. HE’S SWEET AS CAN BE BE. YOU CAN. CHIHUAHUA’S CAN BE JUMPY BUT HE SEEMS CALM. I’M A FAN OF MIXES. THIS ONE WILL HAVE A LONG LIFE. SMALL DOGS USUALLY DO. HE’S GREAT WITH KIDS AND PEOPLE AND OTHER DOGS AND SO WHAT CAN I SAY. HE WOULD BE A PERFECT ADDITION TO ANYONE’S FAMILY. Reporter: HE’D PROBABLY BE GREAT FOR THE BARK AROUND TOWN PROGRAM. THIS IS A PROGRAM WE STARTED TO HELP DOGS THAT HAVE A HARD TIME GETTING ADOPTED. IF YOU WANT TO FOSTER BUT YOU CAN’T HAVE A DOG STAY AT YOUR HOME, YOU CAN BE AN AMBASSADOR FOR THESE DOGS AND TAKE THEM OUT TO DIFFERENT EVENTS, PARKS, IT HELPS SOCIALIZE THEM AND IT’S JUST SO GOOD FOR THEM. WHEN THEY COME BACK TO THE SHELTER THEY’RE CALMER BECAUSE SOMETIMES WHEN THEY’RE NOT OUT AS MUCH AS THEY SHOULD BE IT’S A LITTLE HARD ON THE DOG. IT GIVES THEM EXPOSURE THEY SHOULD GET, SO THEY’LL MEET NEW PEOPLE. PEOPLE WILL SEE THEM WITH THE BEAUTIFUL VEST ON, ADOPT ME AND IT COULD BE WIN-WIN FOR BOTH. Reporter: WHAT COLOR ARE THE VESTS? THEY’RE DIFFERENT COLORS. I THINK THEY’RE RED OR BLUE.
