Group flooded with applications to adopt abused German Shepherd

BRIAN JOHNSON HAS THE LATEST ON CAESAR’S PROGRESS. BRIAN: TAKE A LOOK, WE ARE AT THE PLAZA ANIMAL CLINIC. THIS IS GOOD DOG THAT EVERYONE HAS BEEN TALKING ABOUT. HE IS BEING A LITTLE SHY. WE ARE WITH DR. BRAD. YOU HAVE BEEN HELPING HIM ALONG, JUST KIND OF TALKING TO — ABOUT THE TREATMENT HE RECEIVED. WE KNOW YOU HAD ISSUES WITH HIS FINGERNAILS, HIS LEGS, HIS WEIGHT, ALL OF THOSE THINGS.>>HE IS RESPONDING PRETTY WELL RIGHT NOW. IT IS A SLOW RECOVERY. EVERYDAY HE IS MAKING PROGRESS. RIGHT NOW HE IS EATING LIKE A CHAMP. ONCE HE IS FURTHER ALONG WE WILL START THE PROGRESS — PROCESS. BRIAN: HE WAS 60 POUNDS WHEN HE FIRST CAME IN. A NORMAL GERMAN SHEPHERD SHOULD BE SOMETHING LIKE 100 POUNDS. HE IS VERY SENSITIVE. WHAT IS THE PROGNOSIS.>>HOPEFULLY HE CONQUERS THIS LIKE EVERYBODY WANTS. FULL RECOVERY FOR HIM WOULD BE TO HAVE A GOOD QUALITY OF LIFE AND BE ANY GOOD HOME. HOPEFULLY, HE WON’T NEED MANY SURGERIES. HOPEFULLY HE CAN RECOVER FROM THIS MEDICALLY. BRIAN: THAT IS A PROGNOSIS. TAKE ONE MORE LOOK AT THIS BEAUTIFUL FACE. SUCH A CUTE LITTLE GUY.
