Man trying to save dog rescued from Missoula river

new tonight at 10:00 a man trying to save his dog from high and fast-moving waters of the Clark Fork River ends up needing to be rescued himself unfortunately his pet died in the water police told MTN that a man was playing ball with his dog in the South Bank of the Clark Fork River near McCormick Park when he accidentally threw the ball into the river and his dog followed he then jumped in after his pets and he himself got caught in those rapid currents search and rescue and fire responders were able to pull the man out of the fast-moving water and he was revived with CPR he was brought to the hospital by EMTs he is considered to be in stable condition although his dog did not survive we will follow the story as more information becomes available
