Max’s Mission: Pit bull mix Ghost is looking for a forever home

HEY, EVERYBODY. GOOD MORNING. TIME FOR MAX’S MISSION. THIS WEEK’S MISSION WE’RE TRYING TO FIND GHOST FROM THE FRANKLIN COUNTY DOG SHELF ERR NEW HOME. SHE IS A VERY SWEET GIRL AND ONE CONDITION, SHE IS DEAF. SHE IS SUCH A GOOD DOG AND MAX REALLY WANTS TO FIND HER A FOREVER HOME. HE IS A LITTLE NERVOUS, BUT I THINK HE IS READY. TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT GHOST. GHOST IS A 7-MONTH-OLD PIT MIX FEMALE. HE LOVES TO PLAY, BUT HE IS ALSO DEAF. SHE IS DEAF. SO THAT IS THE ONE THING ABOUT HER THAT MAY MAKE PEOPLE TIMID. RIGHT. AND SHE SEEMS TO PLAY REALLY WELL AND LISTEN. SHE DOES. AND SHE IS LEARNING SIGN LANGUAGE. SO SHE IS GETTING ALONG GREAT. IT IS A CHALLENGE TO ADOPT A DEAF DOG BECAUSE THEY DON’T BARK. THEY DON’T HAVE SOMEONE AT THE CONSIDER AND YOU’RE CALLING THEM AND — YES. AND THEN THEY DON’T HEAR. IT TAKE AS SPECIAL PERSON THE ADOPT A DEAF DOG. WE RECOMMEND MAYBE NOT SO MUCH SMALL CHILDREN. OKAY. BECAUSE THEY SOMETIMES WILL SNEAK UP ON THEM, NOT EVEN SNEAKING UP BUT STARTLE A DOG. AND SHE CAN’T HEAR. SO WE SAY KIDS, MAYBE TEENAGERS OR AN ADULT WITH NO CHILDREN. WHAT ABOUT OTHER DOGS. SHE SEEMS TO LIKE MAX. SHE LOVINGS MAX. SHE GETS ALONG WITH EVERYBODY. SHE LOVES TO MY AND — NOW, SHE IS RUNNING AROUND. AND NOT FAZED BY THE CAMERA. NO, SHE IS JUST DOING HER OWN THING PLAYING WITH THE TOYS. A LOT OF ENERGY. A BEAUTIFUL DOG. AND SHE WOULD BE TINE WITH DOGS AND OLDER KIDS. RIGHT. THAT IS FOR SURE. ANYTHING ELSE THAT WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HER? I HEAR THERE ARE ACTUALLY QUITE A FEW DEAF DOGS AT THE SHELTER. I THINK WE HAVE NINE DEAF DOGSMENT AND THEY’RE MOSTLY ALWAYS WHITE AS GHOST IS. AND WE’RE DOG THE BEST WE CAN TO GET THEM ADOPTED. IT TAKES A SPECIAL PERSON THE ADOPT A DEAF DOG AND THAT’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR. WE’RE HOPING SOMEONE CAN STEP FORWARD AND HELP THESE DIE GUYS. THEY’RE GREAT GUYS. AND SHE IS A LOVING GIRL AND SEEMS TO ENJOY THIS. SHE LOVES MAX. AND IF YOU WANT ANYMORE INFORMATION ON HOW TO GET HER, WHAT CAN WE DO? COME ON IN, RIGHT BEHIND MINARD AND GET AN PLEX AND WE’LL DO A MEET AND GREET WITH THE DOG AFTER AN APPLICATION. YOU CAN WALK THE DOG, SPEND TIME WITH THE DOG AND HOPE YOU GO HOME WITH A DEAF DOG. IT SOUNDS GOOD. WE’RE TRYING OUR BEST. THANK YOU. YOU’RE WELCOME. WHILE SHE MAY NOT HEAR VERY WELL, SHE IS A GREAT COG AND LOVES PLAYING WITH MAX. HE IS WORN OUT THIS MORNING. IF YOU WANT INFORMATION ON HOW YOU CAN GET SOME KISSES FROM THIS SWEET LITTLE GIRL, YOU CAN HEAD TO MY FACEBOOK PAGE AT NBC 4 AND LEARN HOW YOU CAN ADOPT
