Meet Luke, the yellow lab up for adoption

F THE WEEK. THE WISCONSIN HUMANE SOCIETY IS HERE WITH ANOTHER PET IN NEED OF A NEW HOME. I’M JOINED BY ANGELA SPEED FROM THE WISCONSIN HUMANE SOCIETY AND YOU HAVE BROUGHT A BIG FRIEND WITH YOU TODAY. ANGELA: I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS DOG. THIS IS LUKE, A NINE-YEAR-OLD YELLOW LEAPT. PEACE CORPS DOES, FIRST OF ALL. HE HAS A BEAUTIFUL GOLDEN COAT AND 10 YEARS. HE IS SUPER ATTENTIVE. HE IS SO WELL BEHAVED, HE KNOWS SET AND DOWN. HE’S REALLY GENTLE WHEN HE TAKES STREETS. HE’S VERY FOOD MOTIVATED, WHICH HELPS. THEMA: A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE FOOD MOTIVATED. ANGELA: HE’S REALLY SOCIAL COUNTIES OF JOY TO SPEND TIME WITH. GIVEN HIS FOOD INTERESTS, IT WOULD PROBABLY DO BEST IN A HOME WITH OLDER CHILDREN. HE IS AVAILABLE TODAY ARE MILWAUKEE CAMPUS, YOU CAN COME OUT AND MEET HIM. LOTS OF GREAT DOCS TODAY LOOKING FOR NEW HOMES. THEMA: HE’S READY TO GO. WITH THE TEAM — WITH THE TIME CHANGE ON THE SEASON CHANGE, A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE OUT THERE DOGS. ANGELA: A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE GOING TO DOG PARKS. A GOOD TIP IS THE DOG PARKS AREN’T FOR ANY DOG. DOGS WHICH ARE AROUND TWO YEARS OLD OR THREE YEARS OLD, AND AROUND THAT TIME, DOCTORS THEY HAD ONLY GOING TO DOG ART. YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG’S, AND IF YOUR DOG STARTS TO BE BULLIED AT THE DOG PARK, IT’S A GOOD TIME TO TAKE A BREAK. AND THEN POSSIBLY LEAVE IF THEY ARE GETTING TO STRESSED. THEM GOOD ADVICE. LUKE IS SITTING DOWN, YOU ARE DONE WITH THIS INTERVIEW. ALL RIGHT, LET’S FINE. ANGELA, THANK YOU. IF YOU’RE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING LUKE OR ANY OTHER PET, YOU CAN GO TO THE WISCONSIN HUMANE SOCIETY’S MILWAUKEE BRANCH AT 4500 WEST WISCONSIN AVENUE. WE HAVE MORE INFORMATION ON OUR
