-What did you bring
tonight to — -I’ve got some awesome animals. There’s Maverick,
and we’ve got Tommy, and all kinds of animals. It’s really exciting.
-Okay. -Do you want to meet
your first one? -Yep.
-Here we go. Whoa! He’s really on fire today. This is Maverick, and Maverick
is a sugar glider. This is actually
an Australian animal. It’s a marsupial. Now, if you want to put
your hand out. -No. Ah. Ow.
-There you go. -Get out. Watch out.
-There we go. Got him. -So is this like —
it’s like an Australian — -He’s making a run for it. -Like an Australian rat
is what you brought to us? This is fantastic. -Well, the sugar glider,
they are a glider, so they’re actually different
to squirrels. They’re a marsupial. Their closest relative
is the kangaroo and koala. So, feel how soft he is on top. Really nice and soft. And they’ve got — Do you want to grab that grape
there for him? -Sure.
-He loves his grapes. And they’ve actually got
this flap down under there. They can extend that,
and that’s how they fly. They can fly huge distances. -Hey, buddy, you want to?
-That’s awesome. He’s going for it.
-That’s right. Yep. -Going for a run. Yeah. Oh, there we go. Got him.
-All right, good. Perfect, yeah. -He’s a slippery little guy,
isn’t he? -Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Don’t
want him loose here, yeah. -That’s awesome. How cute is he? -And is he a baby or is he —
-No, he’s actually full grown. Now, they’re a pouched animal, so they have
a little pouch in there. The baby grows up
inside that pouch. And then they grow up
to be an adult. Isn’t that amazing? There we go. Got him again.
[ Laughter ] -Wow, sorry.
-All right. -Maybe we should get him —
-Yeah, he’s ready to go. -We’re lucky he didn’t get away. -They love to glide.
That’s why he’s — [ Cheers and applause ]
-Really soft. He’s really soft. -He is.
-That’s a good catch. -He is.
Ah, I should play football. -He was cute, yeah.
That was pretty fast. -We got some more smaller
animals for you. These ones are really special. I love their names too.
They’re absolutely awesome. We’ve got Vinny, Tommy, Bobby.
They’ve got — -Usually when they have cute
names, they’re crazier. And I just — they don’t — They better not be
spiders or something. -Now, it’s gonna take a minute
for me to wrangle up these guys. -Oh, yeah, yeah, okay. -These are peppered cockroaches. [ Audience ohs ]
How cool is that? Here, grab that one.
He’s going up my sleeve. -No, no. No thanks. -There you go.
-I don’t want to do it. -All right.
-All right. I’m just gonna have him
go down your shirt. -Peppered cockroaches,
these are — Where is he? -Oh, do I really have to
touch him? Don’t make me do it, Robert!
[ Laughter ] -Yes, no, no, grab him,
grab him. -What do you mean? All right. -Oh, there’s another one
coming out here. -Oh, gosh.
-You got him? -Oh, I just pushed him
towards you. -All right, no, that’s fine,
that’s fine. -He’s going up by your neck
right now. That’s all right. It’s all good. So, these guys, they are
from, like, Panama, Costa Rica, that sort of area.
[ Laughter ] And, you know,
cockroaches have been around for 300 million years. -Yeah, I know that. -These guys are just amazing. -No.
[ Laughter ] -That’s really good.
That is really well done. -Great. [ Screaming ] [ Laughter ] -Oh, no.
-Oh, no! Please don’t leave one here.

and I know how cockroaches work. -Can you grab that one?

there’s three left. This is a lot of pressure
for me, Robert, and I’m not used to this. I’m just trying
to keep them distracted, trying to act like it’s normal.

get the fourth one? [ Laughter ] There we go.
-Oh, my gosh. -Are you sure, last chance?

-I don’t know. Come on. You’re laughing already. -No, it’ll be good.

and close your eyes. I’ve got a surprise for you.
[ Laughter ] It’s gonna be good.

close my eyes. You have a surprise for me. Yeah, yeah.
All right, thank you. -There’s three of them
coming out. -There’s three of what’s
happening coming out? Okay. Oh, my goodness. All right. -So, we’ve got
Luke, Leia, and Han. I love them.
All right, come on out, guys. -Star Wars.
Do I open my eyes? -No, that’s fine. There you go.
[ Cheers and applause ] -Can I see what they are?
-These guys are so cool. -Oh, no.

These — These are baby servals. -What are they? Hey, wait.
Where are you putting them? Watch where you’re putting
these guys. -They’ve got an amazing
technique of hunting. They’ll jump up into the air, and they can actually
kill an animal way bigger than themselves by
grabbing it right on the neck. They just rip the neck
right out. It’s amazing. -Where’s the third one?
-Here we go. How cool is that?
-Oh, my gosh. -Isn’t that awesome? Now, I’m gonna grab
some toys for them. -Now, why would I have to lay
down for these? I could easily just sit up
and play with these cats. Are they dangerous cats? -Well, you know, they actually
can be, you know, in the wild. [ Laughter ] They’re from Africa, and they’ve
been known to even catch fish. They’re so quick, so mobile. And these, they’re similar
to a house cat. They love their little toys. Now, if you want to
grab this toy. This one’s making a run for it. -Well, I’m not gonna put it
there. I’ll put it over here. -Here we go.
[ Laughter ] -Where are these guys? -So, they’re actually — They’re interesting too
because they’ve got these really
interesting colorations. They’re not cheetahs.
They do look very similar. But these help them camouflage.
[ Audience aws ] They’re really
camouflage predators. Really great hearing. And they are
absolutely remarkable. They’re only about eight weeks
old at the moment. There you go, guys.
-Is this how you use this toy? -There you go.
Yeah, there you go. -Wow, eight weeks old?
-Yeah, aren’t they awesome? So playful and so intelligent
as well. -Yeah, maybe you should lay down
on your back. [ Laughter ] And have the cats attack you.
Oh, no, look at him. He’s cute. -And see those teeth
that they’ve got there. They’ve got massive big teeth
at the front, and they’re perfectly spaced
to get to the vertebrae. Isn’t that amazing?
-I’m not gonna move. [ Audience aws ] Wait, I just saw one sneak
behind there. No, now he’s going behind there.
-You’re all good. -Robert, you got to get
things together here, buddy. Now this one’s attacking me now. -There we go. I got him.
-You did get him. Okay, good. There’s only three. Hi. Rob, these are beautiful.

Come on over. And camels — this is actually
a dromedary camel. They greet each other by putting
their face really close and breathe
right into their nose. There you go. Oh, that’s so sweet. [ Cheers and applause ] That’s great. Now, I think we’ve got
a couple bottles. If you grab that bottle there,
you can actually feed him. -I just made out with a camel.
This is unbelievable. This is a first. After 1,000
shows, it finally happened. Hi, buddy. -So, it’s a dromedary camel.
They don’t spit. A lot of people think they spit.
They actually regurgitate. So they — when they’re angry, they’ll regurgitate
on a possible threat. [ Laughter ] -Well, thank you for telling me
that now. I appreciate that
after I made out with the camel. -No worries. You did so well. -Look at — just beautiful. -So cool. -Robert, thank you so much again
